LAHORE: (Wednesday, September 4, 2024): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood sapling fruit trees near gate no-3 and in lawn of the PU Club, regarding tree plantation drive.

In this regard, ceremonies were attended by the Chairperson Department of Gender Studies Dr Raa’na Malik, Chairman PU Club Dr Munawar Iqbal, faculty members and others. In his address, PU VC Dr Khalid Mahmood said that "Green Pakistan" is a guarantee to restore the country's natural beauty and promote sustainable development by planting trees, reducing pollution, and conserving natural resources for a healthier environment. He also urged the teachers to plant trees in their surroundings and look after them for a better future.
