LAHORE: (Friday, March 17, 2017): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir on Friday inaugurated telephone exchange system at department of examinations. Controller Examination Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Additional Controller Shahid Javed, Additional Controller Muhammad Rauf Nawaz and others were present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony the VC said that candidates who wanted to inquire about questions related to examinations, degrees, admissions, registrar and treasurer’s office were facing difficulties could dial 042-111-00-1882 for guidance. He said that telephone exchange was also linked with registrar and treasurer office and relevant calls would be transferred to both the offices. He said the varsity had launched this facilitation centre in which hundred calls would be entertained in one time. He said that in future more steps would be taken to facilitate the students.
