LAHORE: (Wednesday, May 6, 2015): Punjab University Hailey College of Banking and Finance’s Principal Prof Dr Mobbsher Munawar Khan and faculty members has hosted a reception in the honor of PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran to celebrate the bestowal of Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the president of Pakistan. Prof Dr Mubbsher Munawar Kahn applauded the efforts of the Vice Chancellor for promotion of research and education in the university.

He appreciated the generosity of the VC for grant of scholarships to Punjab University academicians, desirous to accomplish academics, excellence. He was optimistic that the growth of Punjab University will excel under the dynamic leadership of the VC further. In his address, PU VC expressed his thanks to principal and Faculty of Hailey College of Banking & Finance for their support in accomplishing higher objectives to add to the glory of historical alma mater. He reiterated his commitment to restore the pride of the institution and strengthen its industrial linkages. The participants also lauded Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi’s effort in bringing back respect to the academic fraternity. Later, mementos were presented to the Chief guest and guest of honor.
