Maryam Raza is a Lecturer at the Institute of English Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Raza has done her M.Phil in English Literature from Kinnaird College for Women University. She has the accolade of being invited as guest speaker & panelist at literary events held in numerous universities. Moreover, Raza has presented her research papers at local & international level. She also has a range of publications, both in local & international journals. Her interdisciplinary research interests include, but are not limited to, magical realism, psychosexual studies, feminism & casteism. Raza’s current teaching & research specializations are in Contemporary & South Asian literature. Currently, Raza is exploring the art of poetry writing, specifically Confessional Poetry.
