Dr. Robina Begum is an Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore since September 11, 2019. She has worked as lecturer in Chemistry at Centre for Undergraduate Studies of the same University from April 22, 2013 to September 03, 2019. She worked as a lecturer in Chemistry at Institute of Chemistry of same University from September 03, 2019 to September 10, 2019. She also worked as controller of examination at Centre for Undergraduate Studies from June 2015 to September 2017. She worked as Focal person of ORIC and Active Citizen Program launched by HEC and British Council from September 19, 2014 to August 08, 2017 and from 2016 to 2017 respectively. She has one year research experience (since October 08, 2017 to October 07, 2018) at Department of Chemistry, University of Liverpool, UK as Commonwealth Research Scholar under Split-Site PhD Program funded by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK. She did her M.Sc (2007), M.Phil (2011) and PhD (2019) in Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her research area is organic inorganic hybrid material. She is interested in exploring polymer based catalytic systems for various reactions. She has published more than 54 research articles and reviews in international journals with accumulative impact factor of 174.878 which have attracted 1135 citations with H-index of 23 and i-10 index of 36 (Google Scholar). She also has attended various international conferences as oral and poster presenter held in various countries including UK, USA, Germany, Turkey, Netherland, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Dr. Robina is a life member of The Chemical Society of Pakistan. She is also member of Royal Society of Chemistry, UK and American Chemical Society (ACS), USA. She has been a reviewer of various international journals. |
