Dr. Maasoomah Sadaf has been serving as a regular faculty member of Panjab University, Lahore since 2008. Her academic achievements reflect a deep commitment to knowledge and a legacy of excellence. Notably, she was awarded the
Gold Medal for her Bachelor of Science from Government College for Women, Samanabad, Lahore, and secured
Third Position in Master of Science from the Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. At present, she is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab. Dr. Sadaf is internationally recognized for her high quality research work. She is specialized in the fields of exact and approximate solutions of ordinary and partial differential equations, fractional calculus and soliton theory. According to Science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators based on the dataset released by Scopus and Mendeley, she has been ranked among the
top 2% of scientists worldwide in her field of study in 2024. She has published more than

Seventeen M.Phil students have successfully completed their research work under her supervision. She is supervising more
Two Ph.D. and
Three M.Phil students. Dr. Sadaf has served as the
Assistant Managerial Secretary for Punjab University Journal of Mathematics. She has coordinated several seminar series at the Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab. Beyond academia, Dr. Sadaf is an active participant in the departmental administrative matters.
Dr. Sadaf has served on the Mathematics Department as a member of (i) Board of Studies, (ii) Board of Faculty of Science, (iii) Department Library Committee, (iv) Admissions Committee, and (v) Quality Enhancement Cell Program. Currently, she serves as the
Coordinator of the Computer Center in the Department of Mathematics, which aims to equip students to appreciate and apply computer technology in business and industry (
