LAHORE: (Sunday, February 19, 2012): Punjab University Engineering Department has organized a lunch in honour of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran for his appointment as VC for next four years at Al-Raazi Hall of Center for Undergraduate Studies.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was the chief guest while Syndicate Member Prof Dr Shoukat Ali, Prof Dr Khawaja Haris Rasheed, Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali, Raja Munawar, Senior Faculty Members and Employees from Engineering Department were also present on the occasion.

While addressing the event VC Dr Muahid Kamran said we should follow rules and regulations to live happily and we should always support the right things. He said that if a person do not work whole heartedly, the whole society bear this loss.

He said that we, without any pressure implemented our policies and regularized and promoted 3000 employees working even since 30 years on contract basis. He said that we should respect and help each other so that healthy working environment could be maintained at PU. Project Director Shiekh Muhammad Ali congratulates VC for being selected once again and said that the appointment of Dr Mujahid was a matter of pride as he did his best for the development of PU. At the end of the ceremony souvenirs were distributed among retired employees of engineering branch.
