Saturday November 17, 2018: University of the Punjab Jhelum Campus organized its 8th Orientation Ceremony 2018 on Saturday November 17, 2018. The purpose of this orientation was to welcome the new enrolled students for the academic session 2018-19. It is worth mentioning that all the new students with parents, faculty and administrative staff attended the ceremony.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice-Chancellor University of Jhang was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. In addition to him, Prof. Dr. Nasira Jabeen (Dean Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences), Dr, Hafiz Khalil Ahmed (Vice-Chancellor GC Women University Sialkot), Dr. Harris Rasheed (Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences GC Women University Sialkot), Mr. Gulshan Aslam (Controller of Examination GC Women University Sialkot), Ch. Zafar Iqbal (Resident Auditor PU Lahore), Mr. Shahid Munir (Regional Chief HBL Jhelum) and Mr. Ehsan-ul-Haq (Regional Operational Chief) were the distinguished guests of the ceremony.

While addressing the students Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir welcomed all the students and motivated them to work hard and play their roles for the development of Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Nasira Jabeen encouraged all the students and their parents to give their best support so that University of the Punjab can be seen in the Top World Ranked Universities. She advised all the students to stay focused on their studies and remain in discipline so that true picture of Punjab University can be portrayed globally.
