PU HCC organizes seminar


LAHORE: (Saturday, January 24, 2015): Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce (HCC) in collaboration with Lahore School of Management organized a seminar on “Patents and Their Outcomes & How to Write a Research Paper for High Impact Factor Journals” here on Saturday.

College Principal Dr Hassan Mobeen Alam, Secretary Ombudsman Punjab Shahansha Faisal, Additional Director Education Punjab Dr Naveed Shahzad, Assistant Professor Dr Khalid Khan, CEO Research Teck Engr. Zahoor Sarwar, Founder & Chairperson of College of Management Sciences Gujranwala Adil Bilal, faculty members, MPhil/PhD scholars, members from various industries and a large number of teachers from renowned universities and colleges of Lahore were present. Engineer Zahoor Sarwar while highlighting the importance of patents and their outcomes said that in Pakistan, only 30 patents were registered in a year while 30,000 were registered in Korea. He said that many universities were being run even by the income from patents. Adil Bilal briefed the participants on conducting qualitative research and how many software could be used for qualitative research.
