Azaz Ali Ather Bukhari holds an MPhil degree in Economics with dissertation on “Asymmetric Behavior of Inflation Uncertainty, Unemployment Uncertainty and Economic Growth: Evidence from Pakistan” Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Quaid-i-Azam University Campus, Islamabad. He received his MSc degree in Economics from Department of Economics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics from Department of Economics, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
Mr. Bukhari has served as a visiting faculty member in leading public sector universities and institutes including Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), PMAS-ARID Agriculture University, Rawalpindi and Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. He has taught several courses at B.S, MSc. & M Phil level, namely, Advanced Microeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Experimental Statistics, Econometrics Methods and Principles of Economics. He has four years’ teaching experience at graduate and post graduate level and has a good blend of teaching and research experience.
He has participated in several national conferences and Annual General Meetings (AGM) being conducted by QAU, SDPI, PRIME, PIDE & PSDE. His research interests revolve around Monetary Economics, Development Economics and Macroeconomics. He is also a member of Pakistan Society of Development Economists (PSDE), Islamabad.
His teaching areas include Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Monetary Economics, Money Banking & Finance and International Finance. |
