LAHORE: (Tuesday, June 20, 2023): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood has inaugurated the BFA Degree Show 2023 in the Grand Hall (Old Campus) organized by the College of Art and Design Department of Textile Design. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Amra Raza, Principal CAD Prof Dr Sumera Jawad, In-charge Department of Textile Design Dr Asna Mubashra, heads of various departments, faculty members and a large number of students were present. In his address, Dr Khalid Mahmood said that the students of Punjab University College of Art and Design are full of creative ideas that have highlighted various social and individual problems in the best way. He said that awareness on traffic rules is needed to avoid accidents. Later, the Vice-Chancellor visited the artworks and appreciated the students for their outstanding performance. The exhibition featured art pieces created by 26 students in Traffic Awareness, Fiber Art Show and Batik Show.
