LAHORE: (Wednesday, January 22, 2014): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has strongly condemned attack on renowned writer Asghar Nadeem Syed. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Dr Kamran called upon the government to arrest the culprits involved in the incident at the earliest. Expressing solidarity with Mr Syed, the PU VC said that all the teachers of Punjab University stood with him and were praying for his health and life. He said that Mr Syed was our national asset and his services in the field of literature and education were remarkable.
