PU producing quality research: Dr A R Shakoori LAHORE: (Monday, July 25, 2011): Prof Dr Abdul Rauf Shakoori, Distinguished Professor, Professor Emeritus and Director Punjab University School of Biological Sciences (SBS) has stated that within a period of nearly three months (May 2011 to July 18, 2011), his nine PhD students have submitted their PhD theses for evaluation, while two more students will submit their theses in next couple of months. The students, who have submitted their theses, included Ishrat Aziz, Akbar Ali, Abdul Rauf, Tania Ahmed, Bibi Nazia Murtaza, Soumble Zulfiqar, Asia Bibi, Saadat Ali and Munawar Saleem Ahmed. He said this is because of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran’s efforts, who himself is a teacher, a researcher, and have been providing maximum facilities to scholars to promote research culture in the varsity.
