Ms. Sara Junaid, PhD scholar at Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics got Best Oral Presentation award for the session of Biomass and Biofuels in 11th Biennial Conference "Molecular Biosciences - Challenges and Opportunities” by The Pakistan Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of the Punjab, November 25-28, 2013. She presented her research work “Comparative assessment of biodiesel production from microalgae (Chlorophytes and Cyanophytes)”. She analysed biodiesel production efficiency of microalgae from northern areas and University of the Punjab, Lahore in her M.Phil. under supervision of Dr Mehboob Ahmed. Prof. Dr. Anjum Nasim Sabri, Chairperson MMG, congratulated her on this achievement.
