LAHORE: (Tuesday, April 28, 2015): Punjab University Dean Faculty of Law Prof Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi has said that special persons are full of talent and Allah has bestowed them with several capabilities. She was addressing the inaugural ceremony of 2-day annual Sports Gala 2015 at Punjab University Department of Special Education. Dean Faculty of Education Prof Dr Mumtaz Akhter, Incharge Dr Humaira Banu, Assistant Prof Dr Hina Fazil, Acting Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Naeem Khan, Incharge ICS Dr Noshina Saleem, Chief Medical Officer Dr Nauman Ahmed, senior faculty members and a large number of charged students were present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Prof Dr Shazia Qureshi lauded the spirit of sports among the students and said that the morale of special students was very high. She said that every citizen of Pakistan should play his role to protect rights of special persons. Dr Humaira Banu said that there were policies for the protection of special persons but these were not being implemented. The efforts of Assistant Prof Hina Fazil were also lauded for successfully organizing the event.
