Introduction
The Library of the Institute of Information Management (IIM) stands out as one of the most resource-rich libraries in the field of Library and Information Management across Pakistan. It houses a diverse collection of approximately 6500+ books including textbooks, reference materials, general reading, encyclopedias, dictionaries, printed and online scholarly journals, research reports, Master’s theses and Doctoral dissertations, CDs, handbooks and manuals(cataloging, classification  and citation manuals).
A key strength of the library is its extensive research collection, which includes MA. MPhil. and Ph.D. theses produced at the Institute. The library collection is organized according to Dewey's Decimal Classification Scheme and is shelved according to subject with an identified call number mentioned on the spine label of each item in the collection. The library receives two leading newspapers, DAWN and روزنامہ ایکسپریس in English and Urdu respectively for our users to read.
A dedicated team led by a Librarian works efficiently to meet the needs of its users. The library provides a wide array of services, including borrowing, online information retrieval via Library OPAC on KOHA, Reference and Research Support services, User guidance and Counseling, Information Literacy Program, and access to HEC Digital Library online databases and digital resources. The qualified and experienced professional staff remains committed to delivering high-quality, user-centered services.
Library Collection
The IIM Library houses the richest collection of Library and Information Management textbooks, reference and research sources. The library comprises of the following collection in print format
Textbook Collection (Library and Information Management text series)
Reference Collection (subject specific encyclopedias, dictionaries, glossaries, handbooks and manuals)
General Collection (including language, literature and fiction)
Theses and Dissertations (graduate and postgraduate researches)
Journal / Magazine Collection (Pakistan Journal of Information Management & Libraries)
Conference Proceedings/ Symposiums etc.
Archival material (manuscript and catalog artifacts etc.)

Information Literacy Program
The library offers a formally approved Information Literacy Program for the new students of  BS Hons. (4 year) and  ADP (2 year ) program in the Spring and Fall sessions to make students aware of the print and online resources available in the library premises and make effective use of them in their assignments and research projects.

The library provides a Finishing Corner equipped with an Electric Stapler - assisting student in assignment/research work completion and submissions
