Archiving Policy & Digital Archiving
Journal of Political Studies (JPS) utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
JPS allows the self-archiving of accepted and published papers through an open-access policy. Authors retain the copyright of their scholarly work and can archive pre-print and post-print or publisher’s version/PDF to personal or institutional repositories or libraries without requiring permission from the journal or publisher.
