LAHORE: (Monday, July 25, 2016): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that PU’s former dean and Director Institute of Social and Cultural Studies Prof Dr Abdul Hafeez was a competent professor and researcher. In a press statement issued here on Monday, he said that Dr Hafeez not only had sound knowledge of his subject rather he was also well aware of international affairs. He said that the university had faced irreparable loss and may he rest in peace. Meanwhile, Quran Khawani was also offered for the departed soul on campus in which hundreds of his colleagues and students participated.
