LAHORE: (Monday, March 11, 2019): Resolving long-standing demands of faculty members and employees, Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad on Monday inaugurated provision of medicine facility of chronic diseases to faculty members and employees at PU Teaching Hospital. Chief Medical Officer Dr Tahseen Zameer and other officials were present on the occasion.

PU teachers and employees have termed the initiative a big relief to PU community. They said that teachers and employees had been demanding provision of medicine of chronic diseases since many years. PU VC Prof Niaz Ahmad said that the administration was taking care of the needs of PU teachers and employees. CMO Dr Tahseen Zameer said that the medicine of as many as 15 chronic diseases would now be available to the patients.
