Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment against the following posts under the HEC funded (National Research Program for Universities, NRPU) project No. 15555 titled "Development and Pre-clinical investigation of broad-spectrum SARS-CoV2 vaccine using surface display technology to combat newly emerging variants" at School of Biological Sciences (SBS), University of the Punjab, Lahore. Duration of the project is for three years and the project work includes molecular cloning, gene expression, large scale production of the plasmids/proteins and their animal studies. The appointments will be made purely on a contractual basis.

Requirement

Research Assistant / PhD Student (Fixed Pay @ Rs.62,222/month)	01	MPhil or equivalent in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields) with good grades, and must have enrolled for PhD. Preference will be given to those having related experience in the recombinant DNA work, gene expression, protein synthesis and purification, and mammalian cell culture.
MPhil Student - Part Time (Fixed Pay @ Rs.15,555/month)	01	BS or equivalent in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields) with good grades. Preference will be given to those who have related experience in the recombinant DNA work / gene expression / Bioinformatics and in silico characterization of antigens.

Criteria
