 Instructions for Undergraduate Program:

The applicants age must not be more than 24 years, on closing date fixed for the online form submission. (No age limit for self-supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs)
FA / F.Sc. or equivalent with at least 2nd division.     OR
FA / F.Sc. or equivalent Part-I in Annual / Supplementary, 2019 Examination with at least 2nd division may apply for provisional admission subject to the following conditions:
On provisional admission offer, the applicant will deposit fee and dues in the University account within the stipulated time period as provided by the relevant Department/Institute/Center/College.
The provisional admission will be confirmed when the student will qualify the Intermediate or equivalent Part-II examination, with at least 2nd division in the first available exam held after this advertisement. It will be the responsibility of the student to submit his/her complete Intermediate result to the relevant department within the stipulated time, failing which will lead to the cancellation of his/her provisional admission.

 Instructions for M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent Program:

The applicants age must not be more than 26 years, on closing date fixed for the online form submission. (No age limit for self-supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs)
BA / B.Sc. or equivalent with at least 2nd division.     OR
The admission in M.A. and M.Sc. or equivalent programs will provisionally be made on the basis of the result of B.A./B.Sc. or equivalent Part-I Annual or Part-I Supply 2019 Examination. (Only those candidates who have passed in first year exam are eligible).
The admission, shall however be provisional, subject to the final clearance of the candidate in Part-II Examination, latest by the Annual Year, 2020 (maximum), failing to which the admission shall stand as cancelled.
After provisional admission and depositing fee or dues in the University account, the students shall be required to submit their B.A., B.Sc. Part-II (pass) result card Annual 2020 within stipulated time period in the relevant Departments, in case of failure in 2020 examination provisional admission shall be automatically cancelled.
In case any candidate who is found at any time to have obtained admission by making any miss-statement in the Admission Forms or by willful concealment of any material fact, (particularly about marks, division, previous admission to the Department / Institute / Center / College or employment, expulsion, conviction etc., and fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down by the University Admission Rules 2020-21, his/her admission shall stand as cancelled and all fees or other dues paid by him/her shall be forfeited.

 Basic Criteria for Merit Calculation (undergraduate Program):

The merit of all such applicants, awaiting for their Intermediate Part-II or equivalent complete result, will be made by incorporating the marks of Intermediate Part-I or equivalent in basic merit criteria as laid down in Admission Regulations, 2020-21.
In case, all the Boards do not declare the results of Intermediate Part-II or equivalent examination (2020) till 28-09-2020, University reserves the right to adhere to its admission/merit policy as advertised for Undergraduate program 2020-21.

 Eligibility for BS or Equivalent Programs:

The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division and age not more than 24 years are eligible for admission in the regular programs. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam is not eligible for admission.
The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division are eligible for admission in the Self-Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam is not eligible for admission.  There is no age limit or session preference for Self-Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs.
No student shall be admitted to a second or subsequent Master’s degree or Law Courses and Undergraduate i.e. BS or equivalent (Regular and Self-supporting Program) in the University Departments.

 Eligibility for MA/M.Sc./BBA (2 years) or Equivalent:

The candidates holding B.A/B.Sc. (14-Years of Education) or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd Division and age not more than 26 years are eligible for admission. The age limit of candidates applying for Masters Program in College of Art & Design should not be more than 28 years. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam are not eligible for admission. 50% seats are reserved for graduates from Punjab University and rest of 50% shall be filled on open merit basis.
The candidates holding B.A/B.Sc. (14-Years of Education) or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division are eligible for admission in the Self-Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam is not eligible for admission. There is no age limit or session preference for Self-Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs.
No student shall be admitted to a second or subsequent Master’s degree or Law Courses and Undergraduate i.e. BS or equivalent (Regular and Self-supporting Program) in the University Departments.

 Basic Criteria of Late Sessions/Years for BS, M.A./M.Sc. or equivalent Programs:

2 marks will be deducted from percent academic marks for each late session to a maximum of previous five (5) sessions/years for all the candidates.
Admission will be made by the University Departments/Institutes/Centres/Colleges as per order of the Session/Year of preference mentioned below:-
•  1st Late Session 1st Annual, 2019 & 2nd Annual, 2018
•  2nd Late Session 1st Annual, 2018 & 2nd Annual, 2017
•  3rd Late Session 1st Annual, 2017 & 2nd Annual, 2016
•  4th Late Session 1st Annual, 2016 & 2nd Annual, 2015
•  5th Late Session 1st Annual, 2015 & 2nd Annual, 2014

 Admissions on Reserved Seats:

a) Sports Quota:
1% seats have been reserved for admission on Sports basis. Only those students/candidates are eligible to apply for admission on sports basis who have participated in Sports Trials and their names have been recommended by the Sports Based Admission Committee of University of the Punjab. No other candidates will be considered for admission on sports basis.
Only District, Board, Inter University & National medalist players will be preferred to appear for trials.
Every candidate is required to send Game related skills video of sixty seconds on the contact No. 0321-7325772 via Whatsapp along with Name and Form number from 10-09-2020 to 05-10-2020. Otherwise he / she will not be permitted to participate in the trials. On the bases of these Videos short listed candidates would be called for trial and the list of these eligible short listed candidates will be available / uploaded on Punjab University Official Website on Monday, 19th of October, 2020. Only those candidates will be eligible for trial whose name is available in the short list.
b) Other than Sports Quota:
Students nomination from Directorate of Colleges & Higher Education, Balochistan, Quetta. Applications will not be acceptable directly from the candidates of Balochistan Province.
Students nomination from Gilgit-Baltistan (to be nominated by respective Nomination Board of Gilgit-Baltistan)
Students nomination from KPK (FATA) (to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board of KPK).
Students nomination from Sindh (to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board of Sindh).
Children of Martyred (Shuhada) of Armed Forces or Security Forces to be nominated by the relevant quarters/body.
For admissions on the basis of co-curricular activities the candidates should send their videos of related skills of One-Minute duration on the contact no. 0313-4719900 via whatsapp along with name and admission form number. Only shortlisted candidate will be invited for trials.

 Admission for Foreign and Overseas Students

Applications from foreign candidates should be routed through candidates’ home country’s embassy and Pakistan Mission Abroad office (in case of overseas Pakistani) in the office of the Chairman Admission Committee, Centre for Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan.

The portal for online submission will remain open from Thursday, 10-09-2020 to Monday, 05-10-2020 till (9:00 pm) and all the candidates are required to fill in & submit this form online till the given time.
Those candidates, who want to apply for admission against reserved seats, need to choose respective reserved quota category(s) in online form.
The challan form amounting Rs.500/-  may be deposited by the candidates in the following Habib Bank Limited (HBL) or United Bank Limited(UBL) accounts and the amount of Rs. 500/- can also be deposited by using HBL Mobile Application, Internet Banking or HBL Konnect Application.

Subject eligibility criteria of individual disciplines will be available online while filling the admission form and on the University website as well. The same will also be provided (through e-mail/ telephone only) by the concerned Department/Institute/ Centre/ College.
All the applicants shall apply separately on morning, evening, replica, self- supporting and reserved quota seats for each discipline. No application submitted once in a category shall be converted/considered in any other category/discipline.
Incomplete application form in any respect will not be entertained and those who have not deposited fee.
Gujranwala and Jhelum Campuses will follow the same schedule as that of Main Campus, University of the Punjab.
Due to limited accommodation facility, University is not bound to provide hostel accommodation to each and every admitted student. Hostel accommodation facility shall not be provided to the students admitted under Self-Supporting, Afternoon, Replica & Evening Programs. Transport & Accommodation facility is not available for the students at Gujranwala/ Jhelum Campuses.
No application will be received in central Admission office or any Department/Centre/Institute/College by hand or by post/courier. After the closing date of online portal for submission of forms, no online facility will be available in any case.
No call letter/phone call to the candidates shall be made separately for selection. Applicants are advised to visit Punjab University/Departmental official website frequently.
All University Rules and Regulations shall be applicable and subject to change owing to the current COVID-19 Crisis/Government Policy.

 Information for A-Level Candidates

Students awaiting IBCC Equivalence of A-Level may refer for tentative calculation of their A-Level Marks on the basis of provisional result information by Cambridge Assessment International Education. The students will have to submit the Equivalence Certificate by IBCC before the start of the classes which should match with the provided calculated marks. They may enter Centre / Cand. No. in Roll No. and Reg. No. fields.

 Age Relaxation and Session Gap Relaxation:-

The candidates who have exceeded maximum age brackets must apply for Age Relaxation and Session Gap simultaneously with the submission of online Admission Form so that he/she may obtain the certificate within time after due process.
The candidates must submit an application duly referred by the Head of the Department (where admission is applied) along with all the documents (as required for admission) addressing to the Registrar, University of the Punjab, Lahore Certificate of Age Relaxation and Session Gap may be collected thereafter from Office of Deputy Registrar (General).

 Updating Awaiting Result on OR (for Online Admissions)

If you have done Final Submission and you need to update the final result of your Intermediate education, then click the button Update Awaiting Result to update the final/complete result only if you selected `Result Awaiting` or `Exam Not-Held` option for that degree level while filling the application earlier.
Also, to edit the subject marks for an application, click button Edit Subject/Marks against each application and update the subject(s) and marks for that particular application where subject/marks can be selected.
