Applications are invited for the following posts under HEC NRPU Research Project No. HEC/NRPU/2025-102147 entitled “Development of a Novel Multiepitope Dengue Vaccine Candidate: In Silico Design and In-Vitro Evaluation” at the School of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. The positions along with the eligibility criteria are given below:

M.Phil. Studentship (Pay Fixed @ Rs. 37,500 per month)	02	Students, completed or enrolled for M.Phil. degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/ Microbiology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or relevant fields) in any University recognized by HEC, and completed their course work, are required for undertaking research on some aspects of the project. Additional skills (NOT necessary but preferable) The following skills will be preferred , knowledge of Dynamic Programming in sequence alignments, Bio.Seq package), Needleman–Wunsch Algorithm for global sequence alignment, Smith-Waterman Algorithm for local alignment , Scoring matrices, Observed frequency matrices, PAM matrices, Multiple Sequence Alignments, Progressive Alignments, Centre Star Algorithm, Profile Alignments, FASTA algorithm, Python Language, Medical Image Analysis , Preprocessing, Segmentation, Edge Detection, Post Processing, Deep Learning for Medical Images (CNN), Machine Learning (Random Forest, SVM, K-mean, KNN)
Undergraduate Studentship (Pay Fixed @ Rs. 14000 approximately per month) for 7 months ONLY	01	He/ She must have basic knowledge of PCR, Gel Electrophoresis etc.
