The Institute of Islamic Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore offers Post Doctral Fellowship to the researchers and academicians in the field of Islamic Studies. |
Eligibility Criteria: |
The general requirements for the Post Doctral Fellowship positions are the following: |
i. |
The applicant must have completed Ph.D Degree in the relevant discipline minimum 3 years earlier from closing date of admission. |
ii. |
Maximum 50 years of age on the closing date. |
iii. |
The applicant must have three (03) years teaching or research experience in any chartered university /or in any Post Graduate Institute /or any research organization as full-time regular faculty member. |
iv. |
The applicant must have minimum three (03) articles at his credit published in HEC approved journal of “Y” or above category. |
Application Process: |
i. |
Application through proper channel is to be sent through email/post to the Director, Institute of Islamic Studies, University of the Punjab, along with updated C.V. Email address is: director.is@pu.edu.pk.
Last date of submission of application is 25th September 2024. |
ii. |
Research Proposal according to the International research format (selection will be based on academic career and quality of the research topic & research proposal). |
iii. |
Draft/Pay order for processing fee Rs.3000 in favour of Account Title “Director, Isntitute of Islamic Studies” Account No. “PK33NBPA2045004002458573” NBP, University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore.
The program will be run on self-supporting basis. |
