Demonstrating an exceptional level of scientific ingenuity, the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman, showcased an array of cutting-edge molecular products designed for applications in both agricultural and healthcare sectors. The occasion, graced by distinguished delegates from the United Kingdom's Higher Education sector, took place in Islamabad on April 22, 2024. Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Prof. Mukhtar Ahmed, and Executive Director of Higher Education Commission Pakistan, Prof. Zia ul Qayyum, alongside the UK Higher Education delegation, visited the stall where Prof. Zia ul Qayyum along with Director CEMB Prof. Moazur Rahman, briefed Sir Steve Smith and other dignitaries about CEMB cotton varieties, stem cell products and genetic diseases research at CEMB.

Led by Sir Steve Smith, renowned as the UK International Education Champion, the delegation included Wendy Alexander, celebrated as the Scottish Higher Education Champion, and Ms. Maddalaine Ansell, the esteemed British Council Global Director of Education.

The event served as a platform for CEMB to present its cutting-edge solutions, developed within a concise timeframe, to address pressing challenges in agriculture and healthcare. Attendees were astounded by the breadth and depth of the institute's contributions to molecular biology advancements.

Moreover, the event served as a pivotal opportunity for exploring sustainable partnerships between Pakistani and UK universities, aligning with the shared goal of advancing scientific research and education on an international scale.
