Punjab University Member Syndicate Prof Dr Shaukat Ali, Javed Sami, Shumaila Gul, members of Senate and Academic Staff Association has welcomed the decision of honourable Lahore High Court which has dismissed the writ petition filed by Dr Mughees Sheikh against Punjab University administration. In a press statement, they said that the decision had waved ray of joy among faculty members. They said that the decision had discouraged the elements who wanted to destroy academic atmosphere of the campus and were worried over academic progress of university.
