LAHORE: (Thursday, June 12, 2014): Punjab University Faculty of Islamic Studies’ educational & research journal “Jihat Al-Islam” has been recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in “Y” category. Renowned scholars of the world including Prof Dr Muhammad Yasin Mazhar Siddiqui and Prof Dr Nijat ullah Siddiqui from Ali Garh Muslim University India, Dr Syed Suleman Nidvi from South Africa, Dr Muzaffar Iqbal from Canada, Dr Hafiz Muhammad Salim from UK, Turkish Prof Dr Abdul Hameed Bareeshk, Prof Dr Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim from Egypt and Prof Dr Zafar ul Islam Islahi from India are its editing and consultancy members. It is pertinent to mention here that the Journal has published a “Seerah Number” which was awarded by the President of Pakistan in 2013.
