Muhammad Zeeshan Akbar Faculty Member MMG Participates in World Internet Conference, China

The first “World Internet Conference” (WUZHEN Summit) was organized by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Government of Zhejiang Province, and co-hosted by China Internet Network information Center (CNNIC) and Cyberspace Administration of Zhejiang Province (18th-21st November, 2014). This conference took on a high-level character. Top Leadership of Chinese government, including President Xi Jinping himself, attached great importance to the “World Internet Conference”, and Chinese leaders and key figures from governments, international organizations, enterprises, science and technology communities, and civil societies of more than one hundred countries participated. Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Akbar, Computer Instructor (Faculty Member) Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, was the only one from Pakistan who got the full sponsorship and represented University of the Punjab as well as Pakistan and shared his valuable experience about the Internet development in Pakistan.
