LAHORE: (Monday, August 15, 2016): In connection with the celebrations of Independence Day, Punjab University Department of Social Work has organized a special event at its premises. Chairman Department of Social Work Dr Zahid Javed, Assistant Prof Sonia Omer, faculty members and students were present on the occasion.

National songs and speeches regarding freedom of Pakistan were presented by the students. In his address, Dr Zahid Javed lauded the efforts of the organizers for arranging the event and vowed to continue such events in future.
