To commemorate the 136th birthday of Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on December 25, 2012 the Department of Applied Psychology and Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab Lahore arranged an event in which students presented poems, speeches and documentaries on the life history and impeccable leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah while relating it to the present day Pakistan. A quiz program was also conducted on the life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. A large number of students, faculty members and staff from the Department of Applied Psychology and Centre for Clinical Psychology participated in the event.

The program was concluded with comments by Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar, Chairperson, Department of Applied Psychology and Director of Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore who highlighted the need to follow the footsteps of Quaid-e-Azam and reinstate his mission and vision for the progress of Pakistan. In the end, prizes were distributed among the winners of the quiz and participants of the program by the Chairperson.
