LAHORE: (Wednesday, August 08, 2012): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran chaired a meeting regarding dengue awareness campaign at committee room here on Wednesday.

Chief Social Mobilizer Mrs Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Acting Registrar Prof Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir, Chairman Department of Zoology Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Prof Dr Saeed Akhtar, Member Syndicate Shumaila Gul and Student Advisor Prof Dr Rafique Ahmed attended the meeting. The meeting decided that Punjab University students will voluntarily participate in Punjab government’s ongoing awareness campaign regarding dengue fever in order to sensitize people about the disease. In this connection, an awareness drive will also be launched in the university to restrain the spread of the disease and provide accurate information to the patients.
