LAHORE: (Thursday, November 15, 2012): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran inaugurated All Pakistan Inter-University Football Championship 2012-13 at New Campus ground here on Thursday. Renowned social figure Raja Munawar, Additional Director Sports Shamsa Hashmi, Deputy Advisor Students Affairs Zubair Akram and a large no of players from all over the country were present on the occasion. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the VC said that games taught of the lesson of wining and losing. He said that games created team spirits amongst players and kept them healthy and active. He said that once the PU grounds were uninhabited because of politics but now there were lot sports activities on campus. As many as 18 teams from various universities of all the four provinces and federal capital are participating in the mega event and final match will be held on November 19.
