The faculty of science is the largest faculty of the Punjab University comprising of 5 Departments, 3 Institutes,7 Centers, 2 College & Doctoral Programme Coordination Committee. All the Administrative and Academic matter pertaining to the teachers and students are routed through the Dean. The office consolidates Information / Demands receive from the Chairman / Director of the Departments / Institutes and Centers. In addition to the above, proceedings of meeting of various committees and reports concerning policy matter and other duties assign to the Dean by the Vice-Chancellor are also prepaid for onward transmission to the quarters concerned. In university of the Punjab, English is used as a Medium of Instruction in Faculty of Science
