Applications are invited for visiting faculty at the Department of Archaeology to teach the following subjects to BS Archaeology 2nd Semester:

• English-II
• Islamic Studies /ET/ 123: Ethics
• Introduction to Statistics
• General-III Fundamentals of Philosophy
• General-IV: Basic Anthropology
• Foundation-II: Ancient History of Pakistan and India

Requirement

The applicant must have MPhil / PhD or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized institution and possess teaching/research or professional experience in the relevant subjects as per HEC criteria.

After appointment, the visiting faculty shall be responsible for teaching and conducting the courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the department, as well as compiling, administering and grading examinations.

Criteria

The candidates may submit their applications through E-mail at chairman.arch@pu.edu.pk by August 17, 2022 along with one page CV, copy of CNIC, one passport size photo and copies of academic qualifications. Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview. Interview of only eligible candidates will be held on August 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

NOTE: Clearly mention the subject name you intend to teach in the subject of your email application. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
