As directed by the Vice Chancellor, The College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) organized a one day workshop on “Emergency Response Planning (ERP) towards any terrorist activity”. The workshop started with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The Principal CEES, Prof. Dr. Firdaus-e-Bareen, welcomed the trainers' team from PAK- Safety Solutions Ltd. and participants in her opening remarks. She highlighted the importance of such planning in emergency situations that are required in the present day scenario.

 

 

The trainers' team led by Mr. Muhammad Muzaffar Baig involved the students in active foot drills and practical demonstration to respond to such situation without panic. The trainers' team also delivered a detailed lecture on health and safety to selected classes as part of their academic course.
