LAHORE: (Friday, August 2, 2024): Punjab University Confucius Institute set up summer camp in China in which a group of 19 students from various Pakistani universities embarked on a captivating two-week adventure, exploring China’s vibrant culture and rich history. Under the expert guidance of Chinese Director at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JXUST) Professor Cai JinBao the students experienced a grand reception in Guangzhou, high-speed train ride, Chinese calligraphy, Kung Fu classes, the essence of traditional arts, historic exploration, visits to the fushou canal, Wei’s Family House and local museums to get deep insights into China’s storied past. City highlights included tours of Guangzhou tower, shenzhen bay park and a full-day exploration of Zhuhai. The students thanked Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Host Director PU Confucius Institute Dr Shafiq ur Rehman and Yang Bin, President of JXUST for their incredible support and coordination in organizing the summer camp 2024.
