HEC's Imagine Academy Initiative is a step towards the realization of HEC's vision of having an education system which produces graduates and scholars whose skills are certified and recognized in every country around the globe. HEC & Microsoft is setting up and awarding status of Microsoft Imagine Academy to all public and private sector HEls and Certiport Testing Center to all public sector HEls across Pakistan and AJ&K;. Punjab University has a Certiport Testing Center .

The Microsoft Imagine Academy program provides a complete IT education solution that bridges the world of education with the professional world. The program is designed to help drive employability, digital literacy, technical trainings & certification and 21st century workforce development for students.

Under the program, Punjab University is going to provide the access to premium content for all current Microsoft Certification courses, including Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification. Vouchers for the MOS certification are also provided free of cost to recipients of laptops under Prime Minister Laptop Scheme.
