LAHORE: (Wednesday, June 12, 2013): All Pakistan Inter-Universities Water Polo Championship 2012-13 started here at swimming pool of Punjab University New Campus hostels under the supervision of PU Additional Director Sports Mrs Shamsa Hashmi.

Teams of 8 universities from the country are participating in the event. In the first-day matches, PU defeated Lahore School of Economics by 11-1 and Iqra University Karachi defeated Government College University Lahore by 2-4. In semi final, Punjab University defeated Iqra University Karachi by 12-0 and qualified for final match. PU’s Usman Habib, Hamza Tahir, Sanaullah and Abdullah scored 4, 4, 3 and 1 goals respectively.

Final match will be played on Thursday June 13 at 5pm at New Campus swimming pool.
