LAHORE : (Friday, May 20, 2011): Punjab University Department of Gender Studies' Gender Research and Counseling Centre, in collaboration with Azimia Rohania Library, organized a seminar on “Advancement in Chromotherapy” here in the department. Dr Samina Aamir and Asma Azmi Azmat were the keynote speakers of the seminar while Department Incharge Chairperson Prof Dr Samar Fatima, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

The speakers, while highlighting the history and treatment method, said colours had various affects on human lives. They said the colour-therapy were purely a scientific treatment method. They also highlight the use of various colours in treatment of various diseases. They said the younger generation could be benefited if colour-therapy was included the syllabus.

In her welcome address, Dr Samar Fatima said Almighty Allah was the light earth and sky. She said colours and weather have deep impact on human's lives. She thanked the speakers and the participants.
