Orientation Ceremony for newly admitted students of MPhil and MS Health Psychology at Institute of Applied Psychology


The Institute of Applied Psychology at the University of the Punjab recently organized an Orientation Ceremony for the incoming batch of MPhil and MS Health Psychology students for the session 2023-2025. The ceremony commenced with the Holy Name of Allah. Acting Director, Prof. Dr. Saima Ghazal, warmly welcomed the new students and provided an insightful overview of the institute's overarching goals and mission. She focused on cultivating a culture of collaborative learning, inspiring everyone to come together and actively participate in a shared educational experience.
The orientation program proceeded with a virtual tour of the institute, offering students a glimpse of its facilities and a chance to virtually meet the dedicated staff members at IAP.

Following the virtual tour, senior faculty members from IAP, including Dr. Iram Fatima (Associate Professor), Dr. Afifa Anjum (Associate Professor), and Dr. Omama Tariq (Assistant Professor), introduced themselves and shared their respective areas of expertise with the students. The esteemed faculty members offered words of encouragement and motivation, urging the students to excel in their academic pursuits and emphasizing the importance of becoming active and productive contributors to society.
During the Orientation Ceremony, the students introduce themselves and shared their expectations from this course. The Orientation was concluded with a question-and-answer session provided a platform for students to seek clarification on any queries they had, ensuring that they felt well-informed and prepared to embark on their academic journey at the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab.
