The 4th meeting of the Molecular Biology Consortium (MBC) convened on December 21, 2023, at the Jinnah Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Centre (JB&RSC;) in Lahore.

The worthy Minister for Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Punjab, Prof. Dr Javed Akram presided over the meeting. Prof. Dr Ayesha Arif, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College / Executive Director of JB&RSC;, co-chaired the meeting. Founding Executive Director, Prof. Dr Moazzam N. Tarar, explained the birth of MBC. Founding Director Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) shared scientific contributions of MBC in Pakistan.

The Vice Chancellor of University of Child Health Sciences, Children Hospital Lahore Prof. Dr. Masood Sadiq, and clinicians from JB&RSC;and KEMU also attended the meeting. Director CEMB Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman and Director CAMB Prof. Dr. Rehan Sadiq appreciated the scientific contributions and affirmed their support towards MBC for advancement in scientific research in Pakistan.
