Dars-e-Quran Series Enlightens Audience on Ramadan and Tazkiyat al-Nafs at PU Library


Punjab University Library hosted the second session of its Dars-e-Quran series today, focusing on Ramadan and Tazkiyat al-Nafs. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ijaz, former Director of the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center, delivered a profound discourse on the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the importance of inner purification. He emphasized the need for individuals to engage in sincere introspection and strive for inner purification, in alignment with the teachings of Islam.
Attendees, including students, library professionals and staff, gained insights into the transformative potential of Ramadan and its emphasis on self-reflection and spiritual growth.
Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani, Chief Librarian and Saif ur Rehman Attique Deputy Chief Librarian extended their heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ijaz for his insightful discourse and thanked to all attendees for joining the program. The Dars-e-Quran series, a flagship initiative of PU Library aims to promote understanding of Islamic teachings and foster intellectual discourse within the academic community and beyond.
