LAHORE: (Tuesday, December 23, 2025): Under the auspices of the Punjab University administration, Pakistan’s largest three-day annual book fair will be organized from January 29 to 31, 2026 at the New Campus. This was announced by the PU administration following the approval of the book fair by Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali. On the directions of the VC, a committee headed by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mahmood has been constituted to complete the arrangements for the book fair. In this regard, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood to review the arrangements for the book fair. The meeting was attended by Registrar Dr Ahmad Islam, Acting Chief Librarian Muhammad Asif Khan, DG Rehan Sadiq, and other officials. During the meeting, various responsibilities were assigned to the officials. It is worth mentioning that a record 175,000+ books were sold during the previous three-day book fair held in February 2025.
