LAHORE: (Monday, September 7, 2026): The second phase of admissions at Punjab University will begin on Tuesday (today), September 8, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply for admission to the seats that remain vacant. In the first phase of admissions at PU, previous records were broken. More than 12,766 admissions have already been completed in the first phase this year, whereas a total of 11,112 admissions were made across both phases last year. The Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali said that the increase in admissions at PU reflects the candidates’ confidence in the university’s quality of education. He said that PU is providing the best education at the lowest fees. He further stated that the university offers its students the highest number of scholarships and subsidies.
