LAHORE: (Thursday, June 27, 2013): Punjab University College of Art and Design on Thursday organized a presentation to unveil and detail the features of newly designed insignia.

PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was the chief guest on the occasion while PUCAD Principal Dr Maliha Azmi Agha, former dean and principal Prof Dr Rahat Naveed Masud, senior faculty members and representatives of college’s Student Council were present on the occasion.

Giving presentation on the logo, Dr Agha said that for any institution, branding was one of the most valuable assets and it defined who you were and what you did. She said that the brand guide helped ensure that all parts of the college branding were working together to communicate image and voice across the nation and around the world. She said that it would help them present consistent, coherent and clear image and message that they considered the PUCAD to be one of the best art institutions in the country as well as the world. She also gave briefing on logo usage, color, typography, photography and logo application. PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran lauded the design of the logo and termed it attractive. He said that no institute could excel without the involvement of its students. Earlier, Dr Mujahid Kamran inaugurated Creative Lounge at the college and souvenirs were distributed among the distinguished participants.
