A team of Higher Education Commission on Wednesday visited Punjab University to review the good governance and quality assurance proceeding at Punjab University on 10th February, 2016. These visits are been conducted in all the universities of Pakistan on the directives of Prime Minister’s initiative to review all the SOP’s and TOR’s in the universities. The team comprised of 4 members including three experts and one HEC representative. The team met the Vice Chancellor at the start of their visit and they also met VC at the end of their visit and were satisfied by all the procedures which have been followed by PU in different teaching and administrative departments.

PU Registrar Dr. Liaqat Ali and Direct Quality Enhancement Cell Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz were the focal persons from Punjab University to coordinate and provide all the necessary information to the team members. At the start of visit, a presentation was given to the visiting team by Director QEC, in which different Heads of Departments, Deans and different heads of administrative departments were present. At the end the team thanked PU administration to facilitate them to conduct this visit.
