World Quality Day was celebrated on 8th February 2017 at University of the Punjab, Lahore. Vice Chancellor University of the Punjab Dr. Zaffar Mueen Nasar was the chief guest while Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid (Director LSM) was the guest Speaker. Deans of different faculties and HOD’s, programme team members and QEC staff of other universities were present on the occasion.

In his welcome address Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz briefed the participants about the purpose of celebrations of this day. Guest Speaker Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid elaborated different cultural dimensions of quality. He said quality can be established by changing the attitude. He also said quality can even be achieved within limited resources.

In concluding remarks Vice chancellor Punjab University said that quality will never be compromised in Punjab University.
And he also said that University of the Punjab will be in the list of top most 500 universities in the world. He also said that performance based incentives will be given to the faculty.
