QEC, PU organized a seminar on “Quality Assurance in Education” in collaboration with PIQC Institute of Quality at Al-Raazi Hall, Centre for Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab on April 03, 2015. Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr. Mujahid Kamran was the chief guest while CEO, PIQC, Dr. Kamran Moosa was the guest speaker. Different Deans, HODs, and program team members of Self-Assessment Manual (SAM) of Punjab University and QEC staff members of other universities across Lahore attended the seminar.

In his welcome address Director QEC, Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz thanked all the guests especially chief guest and guest speaker for their precious time. He briefed the audience about the importance of quality assurance in education. He also discussed the purpose and functions of Quality Enhancement Cells in universities.

Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab emphasized on intensive reading to become a good teacher.

Guest Speaker, Dr. Kamran Moosa elaborated on different trends and methods of quality assurance in education. He explained his points with various examples.
