A workshop on the National Quality Policy was held in Perl Continental Hotel Lahore on 28th June 2013 (Friday) in which over 150 representatives of private sector stakeholders participated.

TRTA II Programme international expert Martin Kellermann stated that the policy was a very complex endeavor that has to take Pakistan’s realities fully into account.

Secretary Ministry of Science and Technolgy Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar said at the workshop “It is encouraging to see active participation and contribution of private sector stakeholders in the development of National Quality Policy”.

Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz also participated in the workshop. He appreciated that such type of workshops should be conducted and academia should also be invited and a separate session should be devoted in such a workshop for National Quality Policy in educational sector.
