LAHORE: (Wednesday, January 22, 2014): A two-day Art exhibition on the History of English Literature organized by Punjab University Department of English Language and Literature in collaboration with Kaneez Fatima Literary Society began on Wednesday. Former Principal University College of Arts & Design Dr Rahat Naveed Masud was the chief guest on the inaugural day while Department of English Language and Literature Dr Amra Raza, faculty members, students and various artists also attended the event. The art exhibition depicted the five eras of history of literature English. The seven-year artwork like paintings, sketches, sculptures, clay crafts, jewellery etc of an artist Amir Maqsood were displayed beautifully. The artist tried to convey the message of peace through literature from his work. The exhibition will remain open on Thursday (today).
