PU College of Pharmacy organizes seminar in connection with Women’s Day


LAHORE: In connection with Women Day the College of Pharmacy of Punjab University organized a seminar on “Women Rights and their Role in Society”. The seminar was attended by Deputy Student Advisor Dr Fatima Rasool, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy Prof Dr Mobasher Butt, Prof Dr Syed Saeed-ul-Hasan, faculty members and a large number of students. There was held a debate competition as well as poster competition on the subject. The participants presented thought provoking debates and meaningful posters. However, according to the decision of the judges, Ms. Shabaht Qamar the student of Pharm. D. 1st Prof, Ms. Fatima Ijaz, 2nd Prof and Ms. Faria Qayyum, 2nd Prof got first, second and third prize respectively, while Ms. Aneeba Ahmad, 2nd Prof got prize for best poster. Prof Dr Mobasher Ahmad Butt addressed to the audience and emphasized on Women’s Role in the development of good society and a prosperous country. He also appreciated the participants. At the end Dr Fatima gave her concluding remarks.
